A Grella View organises existing documents, Facts, parties, or issues. Tabular Review is a separate analysis of selected documents against questions. Google’s Data Tables can combine scattered information into a structured result. Compare the same witness-and-evidence task without requiring identical screen layouts.
- Keep a useful event sequence
Grella chronology entries have editable wording and references to supporting Fact versions. Google explicitly gives dated event tables as a Data Tables use case. Do not infer that it cannot build a chronology. Check preservation of your edits and the steps needed when an event’s support changes.
- Do not turn generated analysis into evidence by accident
A Grella review answer is not automatically a shared Fact. Google lets users convert notes into notebook sources. In either arrangement, distinguish an original witness account from a model’s summary of it. Reusing a generated conclusion does not give it independent evidential support.

Google’s current help describes experimental desktop Pro/Ultra chat that runs code, searches the web, and creates Word, spreadsheet, and other files. It can work with or without sources. Ordinary source-grounded chat and these agentic capabilities are different modes; confirm the actual plan and rollout.
- Check the subscription you already have
Free access, Google AI plans, qualifying Workspace licences, and Cloud Enterprise have different limits and entitlements. A source cap on the free tier is not a product-wide cap.
